Hi loves,
Since summer is on its last leg, I thought that I would share with you my everyday makeup routine. I know what you’re thinking, “Taylor, why would you show us this now with only one month of summer left?” Well, my answer to that is that because I have been playing with my routine for the past two months and have finally found the products that I like to use on a daily basis. And no, I do not wear a full face of makeup everyday, but when I do, these are the products that proven to be able to handle the heat!
So, on the face I have been using my Too Faced Born This Way Foundation in the shade Natural Beige, which is a medium to full coverage foundation. I have already mentioned this foundation and the many reasons why I love it in the Summer Beauty Favorites post, so I won’t go into detail about it now. Next I go in with my MAC Pro Longwear concealer under my eyes to cancel out my dark circles, and then layer Maybelline Dream Lumi concealer on top of that for more coverage and as a highlight and while I am doing my eyes and brows, I bake my undereyes with the Airspun Loose Powder. If I am feeling extra shiny that day, I will set the rest of my face with my Maybelline Fit Me powder in Translucent, but on days like today I just used the excess powder from baking and set my face with that after I was done baking.
For adding dimension and warmth back into my face I use my Pop Bronzer to bronze up my forehead, cheekbones and under my jawline. I then use my LORAC contour palette and contour my face with the Light Contour. For highlight, I use my Beautyblender and dab that into my Tarte Fantasy Cheek Stain, which I also talked about in my summer beauty favorites post, and apply that on my cheekbones and tip of my nose.
When it comes to taming my brows, I just use 2 products: my eyebrow gel and my Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Palmade in Dark Brown with the Anastasia brush.
Now for the fun part, eyes and lips. Starting with my eyes, I prime them using the Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I then set that with a translucent powder so my eyeshadows will glide on and not get stuck. For eyeshadow I used my Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. The mascara that I used was my holy grail Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara on my top and bottom lashes.
Last but not least, my lips. Usually I keep my eye look constant throughout the summer and just switch up my lip colors-a Top Summer Lipsticks post is coming soon- but today I used one of my favorites from the Too Faced Melted Lipsticks line in Melted Chihuahua.
So that’s it! I hope that you guys enjoyed and let me know in the comments what you’re favorite products for the summer are and if you have any suggestions for future posts! Don’t forget to follow and like!
XXOO, T
great post!! i used to use the too face eyeshadow primer religiously until i switched out to the nars one. i found that the too faced one would sort of disintegrate in the heat (within the packaging, so this liquid would come out before the actual product). does that happen to you too? ❤

Great look! I love ABH dipbrow pomade! I think in one of my youtube videos ( 7 deadly sins of makeup) that it’s like my BFF, I over plucked my eyebrows badly as a teen – STUPID GIRL! Great post xxx
